The baseball sports department was a subsidiary of the main and soccer club FC Bayern Munich that existed for several years and operated competitive sports .

The baseball team won the German championship shortly after it was founded, when it won the 1962 final against reigning champions TB Germania Mannheim with 10: 6; the following year they lost in the final re-edition.

In 1969, the team won the German championship again, the dissolution took place a little later in 1973.
