FC Customs Department is a professional football club from the Thai capital Bangkok , which was founded in 1954 . The biggest success of the club was promotion to the Thailand Premier League in 2007. The club is an association of the State Customs Service, whose name it also bears. The home games will be played in the Kasem Bundit University Stadium.

Club history

The club was founded in 1954. Its ascent began in 1998. The club managed to move up from what is now the 6th division in the country. Only two years later, the promotion to the fifth division followed, and in 2004 finally in today's second division. As champions of the second division, the club was promoted to the Thai Premier League in 2007 . The team was on a relegation zone in the middle of the season and coach Prapas Chamrasamee, who led the club into the TPL, was dismissed. In August 2008, the club signed former Japanese star Masao Kiba . Chatchai Paholpat succeeded the dismissed Prapas Chamrasamee . But even he could not prevent relegation and was dismissed at the end of the season. Relegated directly again, the club did not find their way in the second division. Shortly before the end of the season, the club has little chance of keeping the league.
