The FC Huchting (full name: Football Club Huchting eV ) is a football club from the Bremen district of Huchting . The association was founded on April 1, 1953. The first women's team took part in the DFB Cup twice. The first men's team played in Bremen's highest amateur league for six years.
history
Women
The women's team of FC Huchting made it into the second-class Oberliga Nord in 1992 . After only one year and one victory, the team had to relegate bottom of the table again. In 1998 and 1999 the women from Huchtingen qualified for the DFB Cup. In the first participation, FC Huchting was defeated by Bundesliga club Heike Rheine 0:10. A year later the team was defeated by the FTSV Lorbeer Rothenburgsort 1: 5 in the qualification . After several years in the national league, the team was withdrawn during the 2014/15 season.
Men
The men of FC Huchting made it to the top Bremen amateur league, known at the time, for the first time in 1969. After only one year, the decline followed. In the course of the season the team lost with the amateurs of Bremerhaven 93 with 5:13. The promotion followed in 1981. After a fourth place in the promotion season, 1983 went back a class. The third promotion to the Bremen House of Lords followed in 1989. Three years later, the Huchtinger descended again; Among other things, the team lost 1:10 at KSV Vatan Sport Bremen . In the following years, the Huchtinger commuted between the regional league and the district league. Since relegation in 2015, FC Huchting has played in the district league.
