Björn Fecker (born December 13, 1977 in Bremen ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ), football official and member of the Bremen Parliament and currently the chairman of the parliamentary group.

biography

Family, education and work

Fecker graduated from high school in 1996 at the Huchting school center. After thirteen months of community service , he began to study law at the University of Bremen . After a few semesters studying law, he moved to the teacher training of the subjects geography and political science .

politics

During his school career, Fecker held the office of student representative at SZ Willakedamm and SZ Huchting (now Alexander-von-Humboldt-Gymnasium) and was a member of the board of the Bremen Students' Union (GSV), for which he was an expert in the education deputation for a long time was.

At times the traffic light coalition (1991- 1995 ), he joined the Bremer Greens at. He was treasurer and spokesman for the Bremen Green Youth . Since 1999 he has represented the green parliamentary group in the deputation for sport. In the citizenship he is represented in the budget and finance committee, the audit committee, the parliamentary control commission and the deputation for home affairs.

Sports

Fecker is a member of FC Huchting and was active there for a long time as a youth coach and board member. He is the holder of the B license. Since May 22nd, 2010 he has been President of the Bremen Football Association (BFV) . In 2010 he became Vice President of the North German Football Association . He is a member of the board of the German Football Association (DFB).
