history
Foundation and a short time first class
The club was founded in 1906 as FC Langendiebach . After the First World War , the club played in the 1919/20 season in the then first-class Nordmain district league within the South German football championship . With only 5:31 points, however, they rose to 10th and last place at the end of the season.
2000s until today
In the 2003/04 season, the club played in the Frankfurt regional league and placed eighth there with 47 points. At the end of the 2007/08 season, the team had to relegate from this with 32 points over the 16th place in the district Oberliga Hanau . At the end of the 2010/11 season, the championship was finally achieved here with 85 points and thus promotion to the league, which is now called the Frankfurt group league. For the 2011/12 season, the club then changed its name to 1. FC Erlensee, which is still in existence today . With only 26 points, at the end of the 2014/15 season, you had to relegate back to the regional league via 16th place. The next championship should not be long in coming and so the team rose again as champions with 82 points at the end of the 2016/17 season. Back in the group league, the championship won again with 71 points and thus the march through to the Hessen Association League . After the 2019/20 season, which was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic , the team achieved a score of 2.00 thanks to the quotient rule used, with which the team also won the championship here. Thus, the club will play in the fifth-class Hessen league from the 2020/21 season .
