The FC Portus Pforzheim (officially: Futsal Club Portus eV ) is a futsal club from Pforzheim in Baden-Württemberg . The first team came third in 2010 at the DFB Futsal Cup , the German championship in futsal.

history

The association was founded on July 10, 2005. In its first season, FC Portus was Badischer Meister and was able to win this title again in 2008 and 2009. In 2008 and 2010, the Pforzheimers were each South German champion and qualified for the DFB Futsal Cup on both occasions. There the team came fourth in 2008 after the team failed in the six-meter shootout for third place at VfV 06 Hildesheim . Two years later , the Pforzheimers were able to return the favor and won the game for third place against Hildesheim 6: 4. In 2015 FC Portus was one of the founding members of the Regionalliga Süd and qualified as runner-up behind TSV Weilimdorf for the German championship . There the Pforzheim failed in the preliminary round at the later runner-up FC Liria Berlin .
