The FC Liria Berlin (officially football club Liria eV ) is a football and futsal club from Berlin . The futsal team became German runners-up in 2016 .
history
The association was founded in 1985 by Kosovar Albanians living in Berlin . The first football team played in the district league from 2006 to 2012 and since 2013. The futsal team of FC Liria, which was runner-up in 2015 in northeast Germany behind VfL 05 Hohenstein-Ernstthal , is more successful . A year later, the Berliners were again runner-up in the now Regionalliga Nordost called top division and qualified for the German championship after a rule change . FC Liria moved into the final via the stations FC Portus Pforzheim , TuS Kirchberg and TSV Weilimdorf . There the Berliners had to compete with the defending champion and record champion Hamburg Panthers and lost 2: 4. A year later , the Berlin team qualified again for the German championship, but failed in the preliminary round at SV Pars Neu-Isenburg .
