The HSV-Panthers (until 2017: Hamburg Panthers ) are a German futsal team from Hamburg . The club has won the German Futsal Championship four times , making it German record champions.

history

The club was founded in 2011 by Onur Ulusoy and was able to win the North German championship in its first season . With a 4-2 final victory over the Futsal Panthers Cologne , Hamburg then became German champions . A year later the Hamburg Panthers defended the German championship title with a 6-3 final victory over UFC Münster . With the third championship title after a 7: 4 against Holzpfosten Schwerte , Hamburg became the German record champions in 2015 . In September 2017, the Panthers joined Hamburger SV and took part in the newly created Regionalliga Nord under this name . There the team secured the championship in the debut season and failed at the German championships in 2018 in the semi-finals at VfL 05 Hohenstein-Ernstthal . In 2019 the Panthers were able to successfully defend their North German title.

At the international level, the Panthers qualified for the main round of the UEFA Futsal Cup for the first time in 2014 , where the team lost all three group games with 4:24 goals. Two years later, Hamburg was again without a chance against international competition and lost all three games with 2:27 goals.

The home ground of the Hamburg Panthers is the Wandsbek sports hall.
