NGC 5763 is a 14.2 mag bright galaxy of the Hubble-type S? in the constellation Bearkeeper . It is estimated to be 639 million light years from the Milky Way and about 75,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Lewis A. Swift on May 22, 1886 .
