NGC 5751 is a 13.2 likes bright spiral galaxy with pronounced emission lines from the Hubble type Sc in the constellation Bootes .
It was discovered on April 24, 1789 by Wilhelm Herschel with an 18.7-inch reflector telescope, who described it as "F, S, E".
