NGC 5737 is a 13.7 mag bright barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBb in the constellation Bear Guardian and about 427 million light years from the Milky Way.
It was discovered on April 20, 1792 by Wilhelm Herschel with an 18.7-inch reflector telescope, who described it as "eF, S, vlbM".
