FGUP

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

FGUP ( Russian Федеральное государственное унитарное предприятие , abbreviated ФГУП ; Federalnoje gossudarstwennoje unitarnoje predprijatie ; English Federal State Unitary Enterprise , shortly FSUE ; German Federal State Unitary Enterprise , shortly FSU ) is a legal form in Russia and other post-Soviet states for unitary enterprises ( SOEs ).

The FGUP operates facilities that are not owned by the FGUP, but rather belong to the community that the FGUP founded.

The corresponding law for Russia "О государственных и муниципальных унитарных предприятиях" was passed by the State Duma on October 11, 2002 and put into force by President Vladimir Putin on November 14, 2002. The law describes the legal status of the state unitary company and the municipal unitary company. These include the rights and obligations and the procedure for the creation, restructuring and liquidation of the unitary companies.
