FRITZ! Fon
Fritz! Fon (proper spelling FRITZ! Fon ) is the name of the DECT - GAP - cordless phones in the FRITZ! -Product series from the manufacturer AVM .
compatibility
The FRITZ! Fons are CAT-iq capable and specially designed for use with the manufacturer's own Fritz! Boxes . They can be registered on GAP-compatible base stations, but the range of functions is then severely limited. Functions such as the answering machine or the telephone book are no longer available. For unrestricted use of all functions, the manufacturer recommends combining it with a FRITZ! Box with an integrated DECT base.

Other models
- FRITZ! Fon 7150 : Fully-fledged FRITZ! Box Fon WLAN (comparable to the Fritzbox 7112), which is built into the charging cradle for the associated DECT handset. The supplied DECT handset was bought and adapted by AVM from Swissvoice (Eurit 577). Five additional DECT handsets can be registered. The firmware update from AVM has now been discontinued.
