The FSFAB world championships in cadre 35/2 and 45/2 1911/2 was the 8th cadre 45/2 world championship of the FSFAB amateurs . The tournament took place in Paris in April 1911 . World championships of the Fédération Française de Billard (FFB) were held parallel to those of the FSFAB .

history

The tournament was played on match billiards with a 45 cm mark on the cadre fields. Not all documents from the tournament have been saved. Presumably, as was customary at the time, tie-off games were played by the tied players. The registered American Edward Gardner did not participate in the tournament. Alfred Mortier won his second FSFAB world championship after 1908. Parallel to the match between Alfred Mortier and Charles Darantière , professional Willie Hoppe played a world record series of 622 points in the same hall, but one floor higher . Many spectators migrated to this game, which clearly disturbed the players' concentration.

Tournament mode

The whole tournament was played in the round robin system up to 400 points.
