The FSFAB world championships in cadre 35/2 and 45/2 1908/2 was the 4th cadre 45/2 world championship of the FSFAB amateurs . The tournament was held in New York City , United States , from April 28 to May 7, 1908 . World championships of the Fédération Française de Billard (FFB) were held parallel to those of the FSFAB .
history
The tournament was played on match billiards with a 45 cm mark on the cadre fields. It was the fourth Cadre 45/2 World Championship. The winner was the American Calvin Demarest. After the main tournament was over, the players Rérolle and Conklin with the same number of points played 4: 4 and Gardner and Poggenburg 2: 6 match points (MP). This world championship came about through the cooperation of the FSFAB and the National Association of Amateur Billiard Players. Calvin Demarest switched to the professionals after the tournament.
