The FSFAB world championships in cadre 35/2 and 45/2 1909 was the 5th cadre 45/2 world championship of the FSFAB amateurs . The tournament took place in Paris from April 13th to April 25th, 1909 . World championships of the Fédération Française de Billard (FFB) were held parallel to those of the FSFAB .
history
The tournament was played on match billiards with a 45 cm mark on the cadre fields. It was the fifth Cadre 45/2 World Championship of the FSFAB. The Frenchman Lucien Rérolle won his fifth world title at FSFAB, unbeaten. With Albert Poensgen, a German took part in an FSFAB world championship for the first time. The last and decisive game between Rérolle and Mortier was played up to 500 points. Six months after this tournament, Lucien Rérolle became a professional.
