Fabian Ferster

Fabian Ferster (born April 2, 1986 ) is a chess player who initially played for the German Chess Federation and has been active for the Chess Federation of the Principality of Liechtenstein since 2004 . He has held the FIDE title of Master Candidate (CM) since 2012 .

With the Liechtenstein team, he took part in chess Olympiads in 2004 , 2006 , 2012 and 2014 . Ferster scored a total of 20 points from 43 games.

Ferster was able to win the title of Liechtenstein champion in 2007, 2012 and 2016. When he won his first title, he was the youngest title holder at the age of 21.

He plays club chess for SK Ottenau in Central Baden .

His Elo rating is 2136 (as of April 2019). This puts him in first place in the Liechtenstein Elo ranking. His highest Elo rating was 2189 from February to April 2017.
