Fabian Markl (born July 19, 2000 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Markl started his career at SV Landeck . For the 2014/15 season he came to AKA Tirol , where he was used until 2018. From the 2017/18 season Markl also played for the second team of FC Wacker Innsbruck . In July 2017 he made his debut for them in the regional league when he came on as a substitute for Thomas Herwig on the second match day of that season against FC Pinzgau Saalfelden in the 76th minute. He scored his first regional league in October 2017 in a 4-1 win against Saalfelden.

With Innsbruck II he rose to the end of the season in the 2nd division . In the promotion season he came to 20 regional league appearances. He made his debut in the second highest division in November 2018 when he was in the starting line-up against the second team of FK Austria Wien on matchday 13 of the 2018/19 season.

In February 2019 he moved to the regional division SVG Reichenau .

National team

In November 2014, Markl played for an Austrian national youth team for the first time. In September 2016, he played against Switzerland for the U-17 team for the first time .

After four appearances for this, he made his debut against Finland for the Austrian U-18 team in September 2017 . In September 2018 he played for the U-19 team for the first time against Sweden .
