Fabian Mund (born April 25, 1980 ) is a former German biathlete and one of the most successful junior athletes in his sport.

He joined the German Armed Forces as a sports soldier in 1998. He ran his first Junior World Championship in Jericho in 1998 and finished 24th in the singles. A year later in Pokljuka he won bronze in the singles and alongside Andreas Stadler, Tillmann Helk and Daniel Graf with the relay. He was particularly successful in 2000. In Hochfilzen he won all possible four titles in individual, sprint, pursuit and with Kristian Mehringer, Daniel Graf and Andreas Birnbacher in the relay. He was then voted German junior athlete of the year .

Since 2003, Mund started in the senior sector, in which he was never able to build on his successes from his junior years. He made his debut at the 2003 Biathlon Military World Championships in Jericho as 38th of the sprint competition. In 2004 he took part in the European Championships in Minsk and was 20th. A year later he was eleventh in Novosibirsk . In 2007 he ended his active career.
