Fabian von Borcke

Fabian von Borcke (* 1966 ) is a German entrepreneur and former Hamburg politician ( STATT party ).

Life

After studying at the London School of Economics (1985–1989), Borcke worked for a year as a research assistant at the City Polytechnic of Hong Kong. This was followed by activities as a software developer and consultant at Hapag-Lloyd and Reuters .

In 1999 Borcke founded the IT service provider "AKRA GmbH" with Thomas Ochmann .

In 1993 Borcke was a founding member of the Hamburg electoral association STATT party . In January 1997 he moved into the Hamburg citizenship as a replacement for the resigned politician Rotraut Meyer-Verheyen . The STATT party was only able to hold its own in parliament in the 15th electoral term , as it missed the 5% threshold in the general election in September 1997 with 3.8%. During his 9 months in parliament , Borcke represented his parliamentary group in the culture, building and transport committees. Like many other founding members, Borcke left the STATT party in 1998.
