Fabienne Courtiade

Fabienne Courtiade (born September 4, 1970 in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges , Département Val-de-Marne ) is a French engraver and medalist .

Fabienne Courtiade attended the École Estienne in Paris from 1985 to 1991 , a high school for art and graphic design. She then worked in several jobs in the printing industry. She has been working as an engraver at the Monnaie de Paris since 1996 . Her most famous design is the modern Marianne on the face of the French euro coins of 1, 2 and 5 cents. In addition, she has designed a number of French collector coins and 2 euro commemorative coins .

  • Face of the French 1, 2 and 5 euro cent coins (minted since 1999);
  • Europe 2002 collector's coins with a uniform design of ¼ Euro, 1½ Euro (silver), 10 Euro, 20 Euro, 50 Euro and 100 Euro (gold);
  • Collector coins for the 200th anniversary of the rise of Jean-Baptiste Jules Bernadotte in 2006, ¼ euros (silver) and 10 euros (gold);
  • Collector coins for the 300th anniversary of the death of Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban in 2007, with a uniform design of ¼ euros, 1½ euros, 20 euros (silver) and 10 euros (gold);
  • 2 euro commemorative coin for the 30th anniversary of the Fête de la Musique (2011).
