Health professional
The EFZ health specialist or the EFZ health specialist is a basic vocational training in Switzerland. The training lasts three years.
Health professionals often work in teams and have a lot of contact with people. The profession is predominantly taken up by young women. However, the number of male graduates has increased significantly in recent years, which is due to an adaptation of the course.

Health professionals work in hospitals, psychiatric clinics, retirement and nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and in the home care sector .
Depending on the place of work, irregular working hours are part of the job. It also includes evening, Sunday and public holidays. In return, part-time employment is also possible.
