Anna Pogany (born July 21, 1994 in Berlin ) is a German volleyball player . Libera played for various clubs in the Bundesliga. Since 2018 she has been active at SSC Palmberg Schwerin , with whom she became cup winner and runner-up.

Career

Pogany began her career at TSV Turnerbund Munich before she came to SV Lohhof via TSV Unterhaching . She won the Federal Cup in 2008 and became German youth champion a year later. In 2009 she and Lena Stigrot were one of the first residents of the volleyball boarding school, which the Bundesliga club Rote Raben Vilsbiburg had set up to promote young talent. In 2011, the junior national player in Ankara was fifth in the World Cup and fourth in the European Championship. The club took them on with double play rights in the first team.

With Vilsbiburg, Pogany won the DVV Cup 2013/14 and became German runner-up . In the 2014/15 season she came with the club in the cup semi-finals and playoff quarter-finals . Then she moved to the league competitor Köpenicker SC . In the 2015/16 season she reached the playoff quarter-finals. In the 2016/17 season she reached the quarter-finals with Köpenick , but then dropped out in the pre-play-offs of the Bundesliga. After Köpenicker SC withdrew from the volleyball Bundesliga, Pogany moved to the Swiss first division club Sm'Aesch Pfeffingen , with whom she became runner-up. In 2018 Libera switched to the German champions SSC Palmberg Schwerin . With the club she won the VBL Supercup at the beginning of the season . Schwerin then won the DVV Cup final against Stuttgart, while the playoff final was lost to the same opponent. In the DVV-Pokal 2019/20 she reached the semifinals with the club. When the Bundesliga season was canceled shortly before the playoffs, Schwerin was in first place in the table. Pogany also played for Schwerin in the 2020/21 season.
