Femke Stoltenborg (born July 30, 1991 in Winterswijk ) is a Dutch national volleyball player .
Career
Stoltenborg played for Longa 59 Lichtenvoorde from 2007 to 2009 . In the 2009/10 season she won the Dutch Supercup with HAN Volleybal . At the tournament in Montreux in 2010 she made her debut for the Dutch national team . She then moved to TVC Amstelveen . In November 2011, the German Bundesliga club Dresdner SC signed the setter in order to have an alternative to Mareen Apitz and the young Magdalena Gryka in this position . In 2012, Stoltenborg switched to league competitor Aurubis Hamburg . After a season in Hamburg, she went to the Ladies in Black Aachen in 2013 . With Aachen she reached the semi-finals of the German championship in 2014; it was the greatest success in the club's history. The Dutchman then moved to the Italian first division club Volley 2002 Forlì . In 2015 she became vice European champion with the Netherlands in her own country . In the 2015/16 season , Stoltenborg played again in the Bundesliga with Allianz MTV Stuttgart and was runner-up. At the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , she reached fourth place with the national team. After a planned move to Russia failed and Stoltenborg had trained in Papendal, she returned to the Ladies in Black Aachen in December 2016. After the season she moved again to Stuttgart. In 2018/19 she became Polish runner- up with Budowlani Łódź and Romanian champion in 2019/20 with CS Volei Alba-Blaj . Stoltenborg then returned to the German Bundesliga and has been playing for SSC Palmberg Schwerin since 2020 .
