The half-timbered building, Heidelberger Landstrasse 271 is a building in Darmstadt-Eberstadt . For architectural and city history reasons, the building is a cultural monument .

History and description

The half-timbered building on Heidelberger Landstrasse is part of a property, the parts of which, from different periods of construction, form a closed courtyard. The building is an eaves , plastered half-timbered house with a saddle roof. The front building was built around 1800 and extends over two floors and has eleven window axes .

The overbuilt gate passage has a coat of arms ; the coat of arms is signed with TD ( Tobias Diefenbach ). A vertical division is made by three window axes and summarizing pilaster-like strip rustics and arched windows with folding shutters on the ground floor . Inside there are buildings of a former wagon and smithy .
