The Facultad de Arquitectura is a building in the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo .

The building, built in 1938 as a result of a competition for its construction and inaugurated in 1946, is located in the Barrio Parque Rodó on the border with Pocitos at Bulevar Artigas 1031 , corner of Bulevar España . The architects Román Fresnedo Siri and Mario Muccinelli were responsible for the construction . Around 1980 a third floor was added under the direction of the Dirección General de Arquitectura (DGA) of the Universidad de la República. In the years 1994 to 1997 there was an extension to include the ITU, IHA and administration buildings. In addition to the DGA, the architects J. Pesce and R. Velázquez were in charge . In 2004, with the expansion of the ID and office expansions, the complex began to expand again, led by DGA and R. Velázquez . The outer appearance shows influences of Wright architecture, while inside references to Adolf Loos can be seen.

The Faculty of Architecture of the Universidad de la República (UdelaR) has been housed in the building since 1947 .

The building has been classified as a Monumento Histórico Nacional since 2000 .
