The Fairmont Municipal Airport is a public airport of general aviation around 4 km southwest of the city of Fairmont in the US state of West Virginia . The official designation, according to FAA documentation, is Fairmont Muni-Frankman Field with FAA code 4G7. It is operated by the privately owned Fairmont-Marion County Regional Airport Authority .
