Facty i commentarii ( Russian Факты и комментарии ) is the largest tabloid in Ukraine and is based in Kiev .
Facty i commentarii was founded in 1997 and is controlled by Viktor Pinchuk , the son-in-law of former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma . The daily circulation is around 1.1 million copies. The Russian- language newspaper appears five times a week between Tuesday and Saturday.
The paper provides easy-to-digest reading on current affairs in politics, occasionally also interviews, but without in-depth analysis.
The newspaper has held the leadership in the Ukrainian print media market for years. According to reports, the sales are decreasing slightly, especially in Kiev , where Fakty by sales of SEGODNYA was clearly outdated.
