Falaleu is a village in the district of Hahake in the Kingdom of Uvea , which belongs to France as part of the French overseas territory of Wallis and Futuna .

Falaleu is located in the east of the Hahake district on the coast and borders Ha'afuasia in the south and Mata-Utu in the north . The island where the village is located, Uvea , is part of the Wallis Islands .
The village is located between the Lac Kikila ( German Kikila Lake ) and the Baie de Matā'utu ( German Bay of Mata-Utu ). Falaleu is a little more densely built up than other villages on the island. Most of the buildings are small houses.
