Falk von Gagern

Falk Freiherr von Gagern (born August 23, 1912 in Briese , Lower Silesia , † June 5, 2000 in Vienna ) was an Austrian author .

Life

The history and hunting writer Falk von Gagern, born at Schloss Briese as the son of Friedrich Freiherr von Gagern , was a great-great-nephew of Anastasius Grün , a great-grandson of Max Ludwig Freiherr von Gagern . Heinrich von Gagern , President of the National Assembly from 1848 in the Paulskirche, is one of his other ancestors .

On his mother's side, Gagern comes from the noble Kospoth family from Thuringia.

Gagern spent his youth in Silesia and attended the Knight Academy in Liegnitz .
