Family Nicholas ( jap. 森のトントたち , Mori no Tonto-tachi ., Dt "The Tonttu [-Wichtel] of the forest") is an anime - television series , which was produced from 1984 to 1985. The stories are based on the Finnish book The Story of Santa Claus .

action

The Nicholas and his wife live together with the Secretary and his family in a remote house in the Finnish woods. There are also many small houses in the vicinity, in which there are elves who help St. Nicholas with the production of the presents. There are also seven children living in the village who experience many adventures with the Nikolaus family and discover the world of Christmas.

Production and publication

The series was produced in Japan between 1984 and 1985. Zuiyo Enterprise was responsible for the production . The script was written by Ryoko Takagi and Yoshihiko Yoshida and the storyboard by Masakazu Higuchi and Norio Yazawa. Directed by Masakazu Higuchi . The music was composed by Takeo Watanabe , while the opening credits Waku-waku Santa Claus and the closing credits Chiisai maru ga hirogatte were sung by Mitsuko Horie.

The series first aired on Fuji TV from October 5, 1984 to January 1, 1985 . The German first broadcast took place on November 24, 1993 on RTL 2 . Further broadcasts were also made on RTL 2 and Tele 5 .
