Family Boomerang is the name of a widespread steel roller coaster model of the Shuttle Coaster type from the manufacturer Vekoma , which, unlike the Boomerang roller coaster model from the same manufacturer, does not have inversions and is more aimed at families as a target group. In addition to the custom variants of the Family Boomerang, there are three fixed variants: Standard , Rebound and Racer , the latter belonging to the racing roller coaster category and having two routes.
The special thing about the trip is that it has no closed route. The train is first pulled backwards out of the station onto a 22 m high lift hill by means of friction wheels . Once at the top, the train disengages, drives down the tower forwards, through the station and the following route and up the second tower. On this, however, it is not pulled further upwards as with the large Boomerang, but rolls back directly.
Trains
The trains in the Family Boomerang have ten cars with space for two people (one row). This enables a maximum capacity of 625–750 people per hour.
