Raik is a roller coaster in the Phantasialand theme park . It is a Family Boomerang from the manufacturer Vekoma . It was opened on June 30, 2016 in the newly created Klugheim theme world as an extension of the Mystery theme .
According to the park, Raik is the fastest family boomerang in the world. At the opening, it was also the longest and thus held two world records.
As a shuttle coaster , the train is first pulled backwards onto the lift hill. After the release, the train travels through the route until it arrives at the end - a second hill - and brakes due to the upward journey and rolls back the route backwards. The passenger experiences the journey forwards and backwards once. Due to the layout, only one move-in operation is possible.
Trains
The train consists of 10 cars, each of which can accommodate two people next to each other. This means that up to 20 people can experience the ride at the same time.
Safety rules
Raik can be used from a height of 1.00 meters. However, an attendant is required up to 1.20 meters.
