The place Fano Bad , formerly Vesterhavet bathroom , located in the northwest of the Danish North Sea island of Fanoe . The place consists mainly of holiday homes and is located within the municipality of Nordby , about 2 km west of the main town.
Fanø Bad is located directly on the large sandbank Søren Jessen Sand . Around 1900 Fanø Bad was a flourishing seaside resort with large hotel buildings that were typical of the time. Numerous celebrities were vacationing on Fanø at that time.
Here you will find Fanø Golf Links , Denmark's oldest golf course still in existence.
