Faraq
Faraq ( Arabic فرق), also called Farq , was a measure of volume in the Arabian Peninsula .
- in Medina : 1 Faraq / Farq = 3 Sāʿ = 16 Ratl = 12.617 liters
- in Iraq for wheat : 1 Faraq / Farq = 36 Ratl (1 row ( Baghdad ) = 406.25 grams ) = 14.625 kilograms (about 19 liters as volume)
- 1 Sāʿ = 4.2 liters
