Farid Samaha
Farid Samaha (born June 19, 1944 in al-Jiwar Ras el-Matn ) is a retired Lebanese diplomat .
Personal
Farid Samaha is the son of Laure Tohme and Khalil Samaha a businessman. He married on September 28, 1968 Eilas from the marriage comes the child Samar.
education
International College, American University of Beirut , Universidad Nacional de Cuyo , National Administration High Institute of Lebanon (1967). He completed a degree in political science , social sciences and business administration .
Career
In the foreign service he entered 1967 was employed as an attaché, later secretary of the first class embassy in Buenos Aires and in the Foreign Ministry in Beirut in the protocol department. In Tehran , he was in 1971 chargé d'affaires . In 1973 he was appointed Deputy Chief of Protocol in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Beirut. From October 1975 he had exequatur as Consul General in Marseille . then from July 28, 1979 in Rio de Janeiro . In 1984 he was chief of protocol. He was in Beijing from 1985 to 1998. He was retired in 1998.
