The Farman Nunatak is a 655 m high nunatak on the Danco coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises west of Mount Morton in the middle of the Blériot Glacier .
Aerial photographs taken during the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (1956–1957) were used for mapping by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the Nunatak in 1960 after the French aviation and automobile pioneer Henri Farman (1874-1958), who carried the world's first passenger on an airplane on March 29, 1908.
