The Farol do Porto Moniz is a lighthouse in the municipality of Porto Moniz , which is located on the island of Ilhéu Mole off the northwest coast of the Portuguese island of Madeira .

The Ilhéu Mole is a small rocky island in front of Porto Moniz and is practically inaccessible to the public. The lighthouse is located roughly in the middle of the highest point on the island at a height of 62 meters. The date of construction of this small signal station is unknown. It has a hexagonal floor plan, was made of concrete and is 3 meters high. A lantern powered by solar energy is installed at the top of the small tower. The building is painted white.
The beacon is registered under the international number D-2754. The identifier consists - depending on the direction - of a white or red light that is repeated every 5 seconds. The range is around 8 nautical miles (approx. 15 kilometers).
