Farooq Ahmad Khan Leghari
Farooq Ahmad Khan Leghari ( Urdu فاروق احمد خان لغاری; * May 29, 1940 ; † October 20, 2010 ) was a Pakistani politician .
Farooq Leghari was President of Pakistan from 1993 to 1997 and a member of Benazir Bhutto's Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). Towards the end of his tenure there was an estrangement between him and the PPP. He then founded the National Alliance party, which won eleven seats in 2002 and supported President Pervez Musharraf . For the parliamentary election in 2008 he entered the list of Musharraf's party PML-Q .
