Faruk Namdar (born May 6, 1974 in Berlin , Germany ) is a former Turkish football player.

Adolescent years

Faruk Namdar was born in 1974 as the son of a guest worker and began playing football at the age of 13 at BSV Hürriyetspor , a club founded by Turkish citizens in Berlin. In 1991 he was signed by Reinickendorfer Füchse and played there for two seasons. After two years with Reinickendorfer Füchsen, he switched to Tennis Borussia Berlin , where he was appointed to the senior team in 1998 and made his professional debut there.

Career

In half the season in which he played for Tennis Borussia Berlin , he was used in 12 league games and scored one goal. Since it was rarely used, it was awarded to Hannover 96 during the winter break for the next half of the season . At the beginning of the 1999/00 season he moved to Altay Izmir in Turkey with his teammate Celaleddin Koçak . There he drew attention to himself with good performances and after the end of the 1999/00 season moved back to the first division club MKE Ankaragücü with his teammate Celaleddin Koçak . The 2000/01 season ended Namdar with his team in sixth place and the following season in fourth, which you qualified for the 2002/03 season for the UEFA Cup . Since he was rarely used here, he was awarded to Karşıyaka SK in 2003 for the rest of the season . After two more seasons at Ankaragücü, in which he was rarely used, he moved to Mardinspor in 2006 , where he ended his career as a player after one season.
