Fat Cat is a New York jazz club .
The jazz club Fat Cat (75 Christopher Street, corner 7nd Avenue), run by Mitch Borden since the early 2000s, is located in the West Village district of Manhattan . In the club musicians like u. a. Killer Ray Appleton , Melvin Rhynes , Milton Cardona , Ilya Lushtak , Hank Jones , Leroy Williams , Jimmy Cobb , Richard Wyands and Joe Lee Wilson . Since 2004, recordings of performances by Barry Harris , Sheryl Bailey / Gary Versace , Omer Avital , Gilad Hekselman , Ian Hendrickson-Smith and the Greg Glassman / Stacy Dillard quintet have been made there, which have been released on sound carriers.
