Fathead (English Dummkopf or Dickkopf) is a band from Ubstadt-Weiher / Phillipsburg in Baden that play a mixture of pop-punk and rock.
In 2006 the band released their first EP Naked . One song by the band topped the download charts on the mp3.de portal for four months .
A year later they reached the finals in the newcomer competition Coca Cola Soundwave and played in front of 850,000 spectators at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. The music broadcaster MTV Germany then reported on the band. One of the band's songs was used in RTL's TV series Alles was geht . The band had another big gig at the Hurricane Festival .
In 2008 the band completed a tour in Austria . The title One Town, One Team, One Fight was the anthem of the Adler Mannheim ice hockey team in the 2008/2009 season . After the resignation of the singer Zig in 2009, the band became quieter and in October 2010 they celebrated their comeback at the Rockfabrik in Bruchsal. In June 2011 they released the EP Gotta Run with the new front man Ben Baumann .
