The Fatih Mosque ( German  "Conqueror Mosque" ) is the largest mosque in Düren . It is located on Veldener Straße in the Düren-Nord district, right next to the Endart Düren cultural center .

The official name of the mosque is DİTİB Fatih Camii , it is named after Mehmed II. Owner is the Diyanet Turkish Islamic Culture Association eV

The minaret built in 1992 is the only one in Düren, although there are several other, smaller mosques. Thanks to the support of Ahbash (Bildungsverein Düren eV) and the joint collaboration of several umbrella organizations and Islamic organizations, the Adhān (call to prayer) takes place three times a day in public. The public calls to prayer, allowed after a lawsuit from 1985, did not exist anywhere in Germany during the years of the establishment of the church. The mosque was built in the 1980s in the area of the former Düren metal works .

The mosque is registered under No. 1/109 in the list of monuments of the city of Düren.

In September 2016, the mosque was given new exterior lighting, as was the Church of St. Joachim .
