Fatima Zahra el-Alaoui (born September 8, 1998 ) is a Moroccan high jumper .

Athletic career

El-Alaoui gained her first international experience at the Junior African Championships 2015 in Addis Ababa , where she took seventh place with a height of 1.65 m. Two years later she won the silver medal at the Junior African Championships in Tlemcen with a skipped 1.68 m, and then at the Arab Championships in Radès with 1.65 m behind the Algerian Yousra Araar . In 2018 she finished sixth at the African Championships in Asaba with a new personal best of 1.75 m. The following year she won the bronze medal at the Arab Championships in Cairo with 1.73 m behind the Egyptians Reham Hamdi Kamal and Basant Hassan . Then she reached the final at the Summer Universiade in Naples , where she finished ninth with 1.75 m. At the end of August, she improved her personal best at the African Games in Rabat to 1.78 m, finishing sixth.

In 2015 and 2019 el-Alaoui became the Moroccan champion in the high jump.
