The Fauré Inlet is an icy bay on the south coast of the Monteverdi Peninsula on the West Antarctic Alexander I Island .
The US polar explorers Finn Ronne and Carl R. Eklund (1909–1962) discovered them on the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941). The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1977 after the French composer Gabriel Fauré (1845-1924).
