Faustina Rehuher-Marugg

Faustina Rehuher-Marugg is a Palauan politician. She has been the island state's foreign minister since July 2017 .

Career

Rehuher-Marugg completed a master's degree in Pacific Island Studies at the University of Hawaii and the East-West-Center, an organization for better understanding between the USA , Asia and the Pacific region .

She was the curator of the Belau National Museum in Koror , one of the oldest and most famous museums in the region, and chair of the Pacific Islands Museums Association (PIMA). She is also a member of the Culture Committee of the National UNESCO Commission Palau.

Rehuher-Marugg was Minister for Society and Cultural Affairs from February 2009–2012. On June 13th she was sworn in as Foreign Minister in the cabinet of Prime Minister Tommy Remengesau Junior in Ngerulmud .
