Fausto Miño (* 1981 in Ambato , Ecuador ) is an Ecuadorian pop singer and actor.

biography

Fausto Miño was born in Ambato , Ecuador in 1981 . His father is from Quito while his mother is from Manabí . At the age of 15 he started making music, learned guitar and started writing songs. In the meantime he has around 70 original compositions, of which only 8 appeared on his first album SerraCosteño . His best known songs include Bailame bien , Sometimes Ok and Ud. es hermosa , which became hits in Ecuador.

Fausto Miño was best known for appearing on television on the Miss Ecuador election show . In 2006 he was awarded the Quinde de Oro Prize after performing at the Quito, Música del Sol music festival .

As an actor he made his debut in Que tan lejos , a film by the Cuencan director Tania Hermida .

The talented artist also recorded the song Enseñame y Aprenderé as part of the Niñoesperanza program organized by UNICEF and Ecuavisa . In 2007 he appeared on the Ecuadorian television casting show Bailando por un sueño .
