Faustus (saint)
Faustus († 190 in Milan ) was an early Christian martyr and saint .
According to a Martyrology in Milan , Faustus was a soldier. He suffered martyrdom in Mediolanum (now Milan) under Emperor Commodus . His relics came from a Roman crypt to Cannero Riviera on Lake Maggiore and were solemnly buried there. The saint's feast day is August 7th .
