Fazilka ( Panjabi ਫ਼ਾਜ਼ਿਲਕਾ ) is a city ( Municipal Council ) in the Indian state of Punjab .
The city is located in the north Indian plain 7 km from the Pakistani border. Fazilka is the administrative seat of the district of the same name, newly founded in 2011 . The city had 76,492 inhabitants at the 2011 census. The Fazilka television tower, which is over 300 meters high, is located in Fazilka.
