Federal Correctional Institution, Jesup

The Federal Correctional Institution, Jesup ( FCI, Jesup ) is a US federal prison in Jesup, in the southeast of the state of Georgia . It only houses men and has the medium security level. The prison, located on US Route 301 , is between Brunswick , Georgia, Savannah , Georgia and Jacksonville , Florida . In 2000 the FCI Jesup accommodated around 300 offenders, the majority of whom were drug addicts and white-collar criminals.

In 2011, FCI Jesup housed around 1,150 prisoners.
